Sarah French Danilson
Sarah is an Oregon based mixed media artist.
She explores parallels that exist between processes in nature and personal experience. Nature’s ability to create something society finds aesthetically pleasing out of an intense or transformative process, or to recover after trauma, is of particular interest to her. Her work is process-oriented and serves as a cathartic exploration of these natural events. She finds value in acknowledging the circumstances we have been confronted with and using them to fuel a progressive intention. Through this process, she uses creativity to gain agency and control over her lived experiences
